consists of intermediate multiengine training for E-2/C-2
students who will go to advanced jet training. This training
may be flown in either the T-44A or TC-12B. Each phase is
divided into stages. Stages are grouped by like-flight training
regimes: Contact and Instrument. Each stage is subdivided into
training blocks. The training blocks consist of a specified
number of flights. Maneuver Item Files (MIF) identify the
acceptable level of performance that must be achieved at the
completion of each training block.
g. Grade Calculation. The calculation for the Phase
Aggregate Score (PAS) is as follows:
From a population of previous students:
PAS=0.9[50+10(S-M1)/S1] + 0.1[50+10(M2-TGI)/S2]
S Student's Score: Sum of the student's grades for
gradable maneuvers divided by the sum of the MIF for those
maneuvers. (Grade/MIF)
M1 Average Score
M2 Average of Total Graded Items (TGI)
S1 Standard Deviation Score
S2 Standard Deviation of TGI
