Syllabus Notes
a. I3301/I3302 are simulator events and I4401/I4402 are
aircraft events.
b.
Minimum of four approaches per event.
c. Holding shall be accomplished and graded, as a minimum,
once in the simulator and once in the aircraft.
d. Due to time limits in the aircraft, students shall
perform the LOC BC approach during I3301 or I3302.

Demo reverse sensing.

ILS/LOC Approach procedures/NAVAID characteristics, SSE
precision approach procedures.

No gyro (no heading) ILS procedures, partial panel PAR, LOC

Precision approach procedures, precision approach landing
transition, autopilot/flight director usage.

Visual approach procedures, contact approach procedures,
STARS, flight control system.
