Syllabus Notes
a. This block will be a comprehensive review of instrument
procedures, involving a representative cross section of IFR
approaches, and will prepare the student for initial instrument
rating. Emphasis will be placed on situational awareness, pilot
in command decision-making, and crew coordination.
b.
A maximum of two local approaches per event.
c. Students are required to contact the IP prior to the
event for an assignment related to flight.
