Syllabus Notes
a. Once the student has met MIF on critical items,
introduce real world situations.
b.
Practice instrument emergency procedures.
c.
All approaches will be graded from IAF to FAF.
d. VOR/TACAN final is graded as a separate maneuver to
identify consistently substandard performance from FAF to MAP.
Student deficiencies identified with a grade for VOR/TACAN final
may be remediated on any approach with a depicted final approach
course. The purpose of this grading clause is to eliminate the
requirement to refly multiple-type approaches in order to
remediate a common deficiency associated with the final approach
segment.
