Perform:
Flight briefed and debriefed by IUT. This
flight will be a typical formation lead for a
student solo flight, and the IP will note common
student errors to the IUT and discuss
instructional techniques. IUT fill out the
grade sheet on student. IP will ensure IUT
conforms to proper grading standards and uses
standard NATOPS hand signals. Rendezvous safety
will be discussed. After satisfactory
completion of this flight, IUT is qualified to
instruct 2-plane Formation. Further flights may
be required prior to designation as a section
leader at the CO's discretion.
