MODULE 01
ACADEMICS/FLIGHT SUPPORT
OBJECTIVE. Provide the student with a comprehensive academic
base of knowledge in T-45A Systems (Engineering), T-45A specific
Aerodynamics, Meteorology, Instrument Navigation, Aircrew
Coordination Training, NACES Flight Physiology, Course Rules, and
Cockpit Orientation.
Includes: Engineering (ENG-01 through ENG-28X), Aerodynamics
(AERO-01 through AERO-08X), Meteorology (METRO-01 through
METRO-04X), Instrument Navigation (INAV-01 through INAV-12X),
Course Rules (CR-01), Operational Risk Management (ORM-01),
Aircrew Coordination Training (ACT-01), NACES Flight Physiology
(SEAT-01), Aviation Student Indoctrination (ASI-08), and Cockpit
Orientation lesson and simulators (CO-01 through CO-03S).
NOTE 1:
ENG-20 should be completed prior to INAV-03.
NOTE 2:
ACT-01, ORM-01 and SEAT-01 should be completed prior to
CO-02S.
NOTE 3:
Course Rules (CR-01) provides instruction on filing and
operating procedures used in the Basic Instruments and
Radio Instruments stages.
