TERMINAL OBJECTIVES
A. NATOPS. At the completion of this stage, the student will be
able to meet the requirements of OPNAVINST 3710.7R for a standard
instrument rating and NATOPS qualification in the
T-2C aircraft.
B. Aircraft Familiarization. At the completion of this stage,
the student will be able to control the aircraft utilizing normal
and emergency systems in rudimentary flight maneuvers and during
field carrier landing practice (FCLP) type landings.
C. Formation Flight. At the completion of this stage, the
student will be able to control the aircraft in multi-plane
formation flight, maintaining position as wingman or flight
integrity as leader and will continue to improve their FCLP
skills.
