Function: provides second visual AOA display and
warning when arresting hook is not extended during
carrier operations

Indexer assembly contains three independent
indexer lights
(1) Upper chevron green light indicates slow
airspeed or high AOA
(2) Center donut amber light indicates on-
speed or correct AOA
(3) Lower chevron red light indicates fast
airspeed or low AOA
