SECTION LOW ALTITUDE TACTICS AND PROCEDURES

Wingman initiates the turn into the leader for 90 of heading change and then rolls out.

3. As the wingman approaches lead's 4 or 8 o'clock (extended wing line), wing will visually

clear the lead's six o'clock, then execute a turn to the new heading and roll out.

The wingman may need to execute a small repositioning turn to reacquire the bearing.

5. Primary lookout doctrine should be to track the turn with an occasional scan for any

obstructions. Once wings level, each aircraft should check the new 6 o'clock position of the

section.

Will be initiated by lead turning into the wingman to roll out on course.
