JOINT ADVANCED MULTI-ENGINE T-44A
Pre-Stall Checks. Complete the following pre-stall checks from memory prior to the first stall entry.
Have the CP review it complete for subsequent approaches to stalls.
(1)
Loose gear
Stowed.
(2)
Altitude
5000' AGL minimum (VMC to the deck) or 8000' AGL minimum
(5000' above cloud deck).
(3)
Cabin sign
Both.
(4)
Yaw damp
Off (CP checks off).
(5)
Props
1900 RPM.
(6)
Clearing turn
90 of turn at 30 AOB.
The following procedures shall be utilized:
Clean, Power Off.
(1)
Immediately after commencing a level clearing turn, set 400 ft-lbs.
(2)
Roll out after 90.
(3)
Reduce power to idle while simultaneously adjusting pitch to 10 up. Trim to 100 KIAS then stop
trimming. Maintain wings level and 10 up.
(4)
Immediately recover at the first indication of stall, utilizing standard recovery procedures.
Clean, Power On.
(1)
Immediately after commencing a level clearing turn, set 400 ft-lbs.
(2)
Roll out after 90.
(3)
Adjust pitch to 10 up. Trim to 100 KIAS then stop trimming. Maintain wings level and 10 up.
(4)
Immediately recover at the first indication of stall utilizing standard recovery procedures.
Dirty, Power Off.
(1)
Immediately after commencing a level clearing turn, set 400 ft-lbs.
(2)
Select flaps approach. Maintain altitude.
(3)
Select gear down and complete the Landing Checklist.
(4)
Roll out after 90.
(5)
Select flaps full down. Reduce power to idle while simultaneously adjusting pitch to 10 up. Trim
to 100 KIAS, then stop trimming. Maintain wings level and 10 up.
(6)
Immediately recover at the first indication of stall utilizing standard recovery procedures.
Dirty, Power On.
(1)
Immediately after commencing a level clearing turn, set 400 ft-lbs.
(2)
Select flaps approach. Maintain altitude.
(3)
Select gear down and complete the Landing Checklist.
