AIR FORCE T-38 TRACK INTERMEDIATES

Florala Call (IP only)

Lead: Florala Unicom, Navy 3EXXX flight of two T-34s 5 miles to the West inbound for landing,

request traffic advisories.

Lead: Florala traffic, 3EXXX is setting up for a left/right base for runway 04/22.

Wing: Make the same traffic advisory calls using your side number.

Leaving 2915A

DO NOT LEAVE R2915A UNTIL CLEARED BY EGLIN RANGE CONTROL. YOU MUST

MAINTAIN THE AREA BOUNDARIES UNTIL CLEARED TO DEPART.

CALL AT LEAST 5 MINS BEFORE READY TO DEPART, AFTER FENCING OUT AND OPS

CHECK COMPLETE.

Lead: Eglin Mission, 3EXXX in 2915A, ready to depart airspace, request present position

direct to Duke Tower/Hurlburt/Crestview VORTAC.

EGLIN MISSION: 3EXXX, you are cleared to depart R2915A, descend and maintain XXXX

feet.

Going to Duke Field

Lead: Duke Tower, 3EXXX formation flight of two T-34s XX miles to the North/West, request

3 mile straight/initial for a formation stop and go overhead to stay with tower.

Once on final

Lead: Duke Tower, 3EXXX flight, 3 mile final for runway XX, gear down for Two.

Duke Tower: 3EXXX cleared for the option.

Lead: 3EXXX cleared for the option.

For break up into single ship overheads after formation approaches:

Lead: Duke Tower, 3EXXX request sequential closed.

Duke Tower: 3EXXX, sequential closed approved, report right base.

Lead acknowledges tower, gives pitchout signal (after Crossunder if appropriate), then pulls

closed. Wingman follows five seconds later. Once on downwind the Lead should pass the side

numbers for each aircraft to tower.
