2002. COCKPIT HEATING, VENTILATING AND DEFOGGING SYSTEMS
Cockpit heating, ventilating, and windshield defogging is provided through the cockpit
environmental control system. The system provides heated and fresh outside (ambient) air for
the comfort of both pilots.

Air Sources
Bleed air drawn from the diffuser of the engine provides heated air for the system. Fresh outside air
enters the system from the accessory air inlet duct located on the left side of the nose cowling.
