Solution:
1.
Estimate the answer. At 7 nm/min it will take roughly 90 seconds to fly 11 nm. At a
fuel flow of 9000 #/hour about 220 lbs of fuel will be burned.
2.
Find 42.4 (425 Kts) on the DISTANCE (outer) scale and place it over 36 (3600
seconds) on the TIME (inner) scale. (Figure 4.3-32)
