CURRICULUM GUIDELINES
1. Sequencing. The T-45A E-2/C-2 Advanced Flight Training
Curriculum is comprised of nine flight stages. Training events
are sequenced in eight distinct modules that integrate academic
instruction, flight support lectures, simulator, and aircraft
flight instruction. Modules 00 through 03 shall be completed
with no more than one-day overlap between modules. Flight
support lectures should be scheduled a minimum of one day prior
to the first simulator or flight event in the stage supported by
the flight support lecture. Where a module contains simulator
events and/or flights of more than one stage, the flights in the
module may be flown in any order as long as:
a.
All support training for the stage has been completed.
b. Individual stage flights are sequenced as numbered in
the outline of training.
c.
The general sequencing guidelines follow:
(1) MOD 00:
- ASI lessons may be sequenced in any
order.
- ARMS-01 prior to completion of training.
(2) MOD 01:
- ENG/AERO/METRO may be sequenced in any
order.
(3) MOD 02:
- Basic Instruments are normally flown
after completion of cockpit orientation,
EMFP lessons/EP simulators, and BIFP
lessons.
(4) MOD 03:
- None. For specific guidelines see
Module 03.
(5) MOD 04:
- None. For specific guidelines see
Module 04.
(6) MOD 05:
- FCLP simulators shall be flown prior to
flight events.
(7) MOD 06:
- None. For specific guidelines see
Module 06.
(8) MOD 07:
- Three night FCLP flights are required.
2. Briefing and Debriefing. Adequate briefing time shall be
provided and utilized. The applicable items listed in the NATOPS
Pocket Checklist and Briefing Guides must be briefed. For multi-
plane flights, all flight members, i.e., instructors, observers,
