(2) AC instruments become erratic or fail as
inverters lose adequate DC voltage to
NOTE: inverter failure will occur at voltages
of 21.5 VDC or less and insufficient DC
voltage will preclude inverter reset.
Single inverter failure
Single Inverter Failure
AC INV caution light illuminates (along with
MASTER ALERT and caution tone)
Non-essential AC services are lost
Double inverter failure: indications same as single
inverter loss, except all AC services are lost
Question 3 -- 126.96.36.199.1, 188.8.131.52
What are the indications of an undervoltage unit failure?
ANSWER: None, unless the generator actually begins to
produce low voltage. The inverters will fail when DC voltage
falls below 21.5 volts.
Question 4 -- 184.108.40.206.1, 220.127.116.11
What are the indications of a single inverter failure?
ANSWER: The AC INV caution light illuminates with
loss of the non-essential AC services.
